About the event
Fall migration in South Texas is second to none! We will start by hawkwatching in Corpus Christi, witnessing the flight of literally thousands of raptors like Mississippi Kite, Broad-winged Hawk, White-tailed Hawk, and others! Then, we'll head down towards the Rio Grande Valley to look for Texas specialties like Plain Chachalaca, Green Jay, Altamira, and Audubon's Oriole, and more! We will also stop by South Padre Island for waterfowl, gulls, shorebirds, and waders!
Dates and length are flexible (anytime during fall migration!). Guiding costs depend on the length of the desired stay, how big the party is, and rental vehicle costs. This DOES NOT include airfare, food, or lodging. With that in mind, a very rough estimate would be as follows:
1 person: $700 per day
2 people: $350 per day/per person
3 people: $ 250
4 people: $ 200
