About the event
With its iconic architecture, San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area are visually stunning, and that's not to mention the birds! Fall migration is in full swing with hawks kettling above the Marin Headlands and songbirds scattered throughout San Francisco's beautiful city parks. California specialties like Nuttall's Woodpecker, California Scrub-Jay, and Yellow-billed Magpie, and others are easily found in and around the Bay Area or nearby Central Valley! And, of course, gulls abound!
Dates and length are very flexible (anytime during fall migration!). Guiding costs depend on the length of the desired stay, how big the party is, and rental vehicle costs. This DOES NOT include airfare, food, or lodging. With that in mind, a very rough estimate would be as follows:
1 person: $700 per day
2 people: $350 per day/per person
